HPGM Awards



HPGM professional leadership awards shine the spotlight on people and organizations who exhibit innovation, passion and achievement in their careers, while serving as role models and taking the time to give back to the community.



2020 HPGM Professional Leadership Award Categories



RISING LEADER
An emerging professional with fewer than 10 years in their field who is going above and beyond his/her peers to strengthen their company/organization and community.

DISTINGUISHED LEADER
An executive or business founder who exemplifies vision, innovation, business growth and job creation in their organization and industry.
...............
COMMUNITY LEADER
An inspirational leader who is strengthening our community through their position in a non-profit organization or the public sector.

STUDENT LEADER
A college student who exhibits excellence both inside and outside the classroom through involvement and influence in student organizations, volunteer efforts, and inspiring fellow students.

HPGM ALLY
A non-Hispanic individual who is committed to the promotion of diversity in their organization and/or community.


CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY



Be of Hispanic Heritage (with exception of Ally)



Have a proven track record of community engagement



Be an HPGM member who exemplifies the HPGM mission



Reside in the state of Wisconsin



nomination guidelines



Please submit a nomination of between 500-1,000 words that answers the following questions:

  1. Why do you think the nominee is deserving of the award?
  2. What specific examples of achievement and/or leadership related to the award category make them a strong candidate?
  3. How have his/her efforts positively affected their organization and community?
  4. What story can you share that showcases the nominee’s abilities, talents and character?

A nomination may be supported by a maximum of two letters of support. Candidates will be evaluated on the quality of nominations submitted.
