In partnership with the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association (WHLA), HPGM will continue to award scholarships to Latino law students at Marquette University Law School and University of Wisconsin Law School. COMING SOON! About HPGM's Scholarship Program
The HPGM Scholarship Program was created to address the additional financial barriers that many Latino students face in the pursuit of post-secondary education or training. The Scholarship Program strives to support the education, retention, and graduation of Latino students. The scholarship is open to students pursuing two-year, undergraduate, and advanced degrees in Wisconsin. Additionally, HPGM partners with the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association (WHLA) to provide scholarships for Hispanic students attending University of Wisconsin Law School and Marquette University Law School. One student from each law school will be awarded the HPGM/WHLA Law School Scholarship. Students are presented with their scholarship at the HPGM Scholarship Reception during the summer where they have the opportunity to create face-to-face connections with their scholarship sponsors and higher education partner representatives. Since 2004, HPGM has awarded over $915,000 to 256 Latino students pursuing degrees in Wisconsin. We have remained committed to supporting the education, retention and graduation of Latino students, while serving as a bridge between students and employers.
BONUS! We're also excited to share that this year, scholars will be matched with an HPGM mentor. Mentors/mentees will be asked to meet quarterly. Scholars will also attend at least two HPGM programs or initiatives in the coming year. 2025 Scholars who successfully complete the requirements will have priority consideration for the 2026 Scholarship Program.
